Paul Newman At Sebring Archival Signed And Numbered Print Limited Edition
Limited Edition Paul Newman At Sebring Archival Signed And Numbered Print
There is no more iconic vintage timepiece than the Rolex Daytona. And there is no more iconic version of the Rolex Daytona than the "Paul Newman" Daytona, as worn by the legendary actor, activisist, and icon in the early 1970s. While it is unknown who first published a photo of Newman wearing the exotic dial Daytona, one image of actor-turned-racer, captured at Florida's Sebring Race Track in 1978, has come to define his relationship with the early Cosmograph. Captured by automotive photographer Al Satterwhite (b. Brooklyn, NY, 1950), the image stands out as the defining moment where a legend of horology was born, and we are proud to offer this rare image here as a limited edition. This exclusive printing of the now iconic and early photograph of Mr. Newman wearing the watch that bears his name is printed on archival paper, signed and numbered exclusively by the photographing artist.
The signed photograph is a must for any Paul Newman Daytona owner, and due to its extreme limited nature 25 pieces available in just two sizes is destined to itself become a collectible of similar magnitude to the wristwatch which it depicts. Once this is gone, it is gone forever.
